Ok, I can't find any solid figures in the game for this mechanic so can someone please help me understand this. I'm playing as the United Empire and just conquered a Craver system and found that their colonized planets are all depleted, but the tooltip for this doesn't tell me what this actually means, just that 'The planet is exhausted and produces only a fraction of its original income'. Endless space 2 depletion. Depletion points is a mechanic for Cravers. Since you won't be able to ally or even get peace with them you can use your bubbles to mess with their depletion mechanic. Every Craver pop gives 1 depletion point per turn on that planet (planet, not systemwide!!!). While a planet is not depleted, Cravers get a massiv FIDS bonus. I recently conquered an enemy's star system. I noticed that a few planets were 'depleted'. How does a planet become depleted? Since only planets from conquered systems seem to be depleted, does it have something to do with the invasion? Or with the enemy, whose planets I conquered, being Cravers?
